
What kinds of produce, plants, and flowers will I find at the Wholesale Greenmarket?
We offer in-season local and regional produce from New York and adjacent states. Check our

Who can shop here?
The market is open to anyone interested in purchasing in wholesale quantities. We welcome retailers, institutions, restaurants, distributors, and the public.
Is there a charge to shop?
There is no membership fee or registration processĀ for anyone shopping at the market. The New Fulton Fish Market gate fee is waived for Wholesale Greenmarket buyers.
Do I need to place an order in advance?
For smaller orders, you can simply come to the market to pick up what you need. For large or special orders it is best to work through the Market Manager to place an order directly with a farmer.
What's the smallest amount I can buy?
You can buy as little as a single box, flat, bushel, or crate.
How can I pay for my order?
Depending on the farmer, cash, POs, and checks are accepted.
Are EBT cards accepted?
We hope to be able to accept EBT cards by late in the 2010 season, butĀ are not currently equipped to do so.
Is there organic produce available?
While there are currently no certified organic growers, we offer many products that are sustainably produced.
When is the Wholesale Greenmarket open?
During Plant and Flower season (March 24th - mid-June) the market will be open Monday - Saturday 3:00am-9:00am. Beginning in June, the Market is open from Monday through Saturday, 2:00am-8:00am.
Will the market be open year-round?
Wholesale Greenmarket is a seasonal market, opening with plants and flowers in late March and remaining open through late November/early December, depending on how the growing season goes. For winter purchasing, contact 917-838-2309 or email wholesale@greenmarket.cc.
