| Liz Hohn grew up in Oberlin, Ohio, surrounded by a lot of soybeans fields and a few family farms, at which she and her family participated in “pick-your-own” during appropriate seasons. She always liked cherry and blueberry picking the best. Mmm, sour cherry claffouti. Her parents always had a garden, so in the summer she ate a lot of tomatoes and basil. Liz spent a few months on a small sheep farm in Vermont learning how to make cheese and being a shepherdess, and after college spent a year cooking in various restaurants in D.C. She loves working at Greenmarket and talking to customers about anything food related. | |
