The Many Faces of Williamsburg with Joe Svehlak
4:00pm- 6:00pm
Explore the diverse cultures that make up today’s Williamsburg.  As we visit this former industrial city, we’ll pass through one of New York’s largest Hasidic communities and one of its oldest Puerto Rican communities.  We end in the Northside “hip” artist area that used to be mostly Slavic.  Along the way we’ll visit monumental bank buildings, wonderful religious edifices and Victorian rowhouses.
