We offer information for Staten Islanders who want to recycle things that can't be recycled in the city program.
Once each month we offer an evening session on recycling for people who are interested in volunteering at public recycling events
The Office of Recycling Outreach and Education works with community groups, students, tenants, shareholders & home owners to improve recycling. Staten Islanders are highly knowledgable about recycling, yet there is still confusion about specific materials.
