The Manhattan Public Housing Recycling Outreach Coordinator works with community groups, volunteers, tenants, and management staff to improve recycling in NYCHA developments.

We work with NYCHA residents to increase participation in the residential recycling program and promote waste reduction, materials reuse, and composting. Set up an effective recycling program in your building!

Free Services:

• Building recycling assessment
• Recycling workshops and free Recycling organizers for each participant
• Assistance with collections for textiles and electronics
• Information on waste reduction, reuse and composting programs offered by the City and other local groups
