If you are interested in open space, gardening, or horticulture, opportunities are available to volunteer with our staff either in the office or in community gardens throughout New York City. Past OSG volunteers have built a vegetable garden at Gracie Mansion, planted trees, flowers, and vegetables in community gardens, helped build playgrounds at city schools, and much more.
