Model T Seniors

Conveniently located behind a public school building in the Bronx, this garden is cared for by students and teachers. Water is collected from a T-shaped shade structure and stored in a 300 gallon tank. This structure was a creative design built by Lenny Librizzi and Lars Chellberg from the Council on the Environment and students of the school. The roof is made out of pieces of corrugated metal. It is pitched downward toward the center where the gutter is located.
