La Perla

A small garden on 105th Street in Manhattan, La Perla stands out with its huge rain water harvesting system. This 1000 gallon tank collects from a 1400 square foot roof of an adjacent residential building. The system is compact, with its roof washer hiding behind the barrel and the overflow running along a wall into the garden. Members of La Perla pay an annual fee for access to their own plot in the garden.
