Any community gardener that would like us to post their garden needs (ie. table, benches, tool shed) can email GREENING with their list, a brief description of their garden, garden image and how the items listed will benefit their garden. Your wish list will be visible to potential donors and funders.

Seed starting supplies needed for P.S. 124
A group of parents and teachers are putting in a vegetable garden at P.S. 124, on 4th Avenue and 14th Street in Brooklyn. We are planning to build four large raised beds in March and hope to have seedlings ready to plant in April. We would appreciate any seed starting supplies you might have, trays and compost especially. We will be very happy to have any leftover seeds too.

Need: Licensed electrician to wire our gazebo with outdoor lights with a control box with 4 additional sockets, and outdoor lights on our fence. Purchase and installation of solar lighting for our two garden sheds, so we can be better equipped for night programs and special events such live jazz concerts, open mike night, teen, programs. We do have a portable generator for electric power.
The Guild For Exceptional Children
Our community garden is a non-profit organization that provides home and jobs for the mentally disabled. Part of our facilities includes a greenhouse and garden where our clients work and volunteer. We are now in need of a new supply table for our more than 25 year old greenhouse. The current one provides a limited amount of space and organization. This new table would greatly improve our greenhouse.

We have a native plant theme garden. My gardener wants to plant a small native shade tree near our patio. We also need 2 benches near our plaza sitting area and some inkberry bushes. One of our members started a childrens garden group and they need 20 pairs of gloves for kids 5-8 years old. We would also appreciate arts and crafts/science discovery materials
