Explore the contemporary connection between faith and sustainably and humanely produced food with this very special SLOW U panel: Sister Miriam McGillis of Genesis Farm (NJ), Greenmarket organic farmers Eve Kaplan Walbrecht of Garden of Eve Farm (LI, NY) and Zaid Kurdieh of Norwich Meadows Farm (NY).
SLOW U is an educational program of Slow Food NYC (www.slowfoodnyc.org), the local chapter of Slow Food USA, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting a good, clean, and fair food chain. Slow U presents seminars pertaining to food and sustainability, helping Slow Food members and friends practice sustainability in their every day food choices.
