Food and Faith, a Slow Food NYC seminar with Greenmarket Farmers Tuesday March 25th

Scripture calls upon us to be good stewards of Creation. Explore the contemporary connection between faith and sustainably and humanely produced food with this very special SLOW U panel: Sister Miriam McGillis of Genesis Farm (NJ), Greenmarket organic farmers Eve Kaplan Walbrecht of Garden of Eve Farm (LI, NY) and Zaid Kurdieh of Norwich Meadows Farm (NY).

SLOW U is an educational program of Slow Food NYC (www.slowfoodnyc.org), the local chapter of Slow Food USA, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting a good, clean, and fair food chain. Slow U presents seminars pertaining to food and sustainability, helping Slow Food members and friends practice sustainability in their every day food choices.
