When is the last time that you saw your favorite celebrity eating an apple? Students in the LGE program took a crash course in media literacy as a way to spread the word about healthy eating. The idea -- come up with a fun, catchy visual image to promote fresh fruits and vegetables.
Why an apple? Because they are crunchy, sweet, tart, loaded with vitamins and nutrients, and available fresh year-round from your local GreenMarket.
