Going into its 3rd successful season, this Sunday market located across from Carroll Park in front of PS58 is a great destination for neighbors, shoppers, families and Sunday brunch goers, with an incredible selection of regional products like Grazin’ Angus’ grass-fed meats, Milk Thistle’s Organic regular and divine chocolate milk, 3rd generation farmer Cheryl Rogowski’s produce, award-winning cheese from Consider Bardwell, and Hector Perez’ flowers, plants and affordably-priced fruits and vegetables.

Calendar of Events

October 18th 2nd Annual Clam Bake. Come enjoy some hot and steamy clams and mussels, courtesy of clam digger Rob Williams of Seatuck Fish.

October 25th Halloween Party. Just like you remember from grade school! With tasty fall treats, a costume contest, and pumpkin decorating.

November 1st Cheese & Wine Tasting.  Learn the secrets of the cheese trade and taste samples from resident expert Chris Gray of Consider Bardwell. Also, taste the wines that compliment the palette, courtesy of the NY Wine and Grape Foundation.

Thanks to support from local Assemblywoman Joan Millman, special promotions will be planned like clambakes, music, tote bag give-away, cheese making demonstrations and more.

Manager

Heather Rubi moved from fighting Wyoming wildfires and working with Greenpeace to join the farmer-loving crew of Greenmarket. As a Minnesota native, she spent summers working on her family's farm, and can drive a tractor and chop wood with the best of them. Heather hopes that the insight and experience gained here at Greenmarket will help her one day run her own farm in the North Woods.
