Back by popular demand for its 3rd year with incredible support from this tight-knit community and Councilman Vincent Gentile (who calls the market “Bay Ridge’s town hall,”) the Bay Ridge Greenmarket is where long-time residents and new families meet to shop, share recipes and meet their neighbors. Councilman Gentile makes an appearance every Saturday to talk to his constituents and do his shopping. On hand is a great selection of producers providing everything from fresh fish from Gill’s Seafood, baked goods from Bread Alone Bakery, and a bounty of seasonal fruit, vegetables and flowers from Caral Farm and Jersey Farm Produce. New this year is certified naturally grown produce from Evolutionary Organics and Angus beef from Maple Avenue Farm.

Jacqui Roytman has been a performing arts teacher in the Tri-state area for more than 25 years. She lives in Bay Ridge with her family and is extremely excited about the new interest and participation in the eco -friendly, green projects growing rapidly in her neighborhood. Jacqui wanted to manage the Bay Ridge market in order to stand along side her neighbors in supporting the greenmarket's mission; local farms, local food, great community!
Come by and say hello any Saturday, you'll always find something good to eat, new food cooking and great people to meet!
