Council on the Environment’s Office of Recycling Outreach and Education (OROE) and its Greenmarket Program are expanding their partnership with Goodwill Industries of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey to begin clothing recycling at the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket in Brooklyn.

The New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) a announced today the opening of a Greenmarket in the Staten Island Ferry terminal at Whitehall, bringing family farm-fresh produce and shopping convenience to the tens of thousands of daily commuters who pass through the terminal daily.
